The second Sunday of Advent. Peacefulness.

My Congressman is drawing criticism for tweeting a picture of him and of his family in front of the Christmas tree, each of them holding a gun. And to make it worse, at the top it says "Merry Christmas!, ps. Santa, please bring ammo.
I'm not making this up. What was he thinking? I'm hanging my head in Kentucky once again.

Oh Lord, I saw that---what is happening to the human race?? Tennessee is almost as bad as KY. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this coming from my dear old state of residence. And Virginia, my state of birth, will be joining the party too now that they've voted in someone of the same mind frame as KY and TN.
For a bit of Time COVID brought us together...but that is in the Past now. Going with out vaccine and masks is the new "outlaw brand" of Republicans. And the GUN. Shooting those who seem "different"- but not taking any Time to get to know if they are actually "different" ie in color, education, thoughts and practice.
A man who WAS governor of Maine for 8 years is trying to get elected again. Under the Trump Flag.
He'll pose with guns for sure. We'll see........
