Obviously when I was working on this little quilt, I was thinking about some warm colors. This will be going to Bridget's mom, who is hoping to come from the hospital soon. She's been transferred to the hospital right behind me - I'll be checking to see if I can see my house from her window. 
I wanted to try some strata layering and also some free motion that wasn't just my usual stippling. I've got stippling down and need to try some new things. I would say it's one of my resolutions, but I promised that there would be no more talk about resolutions.
