The Company's Gone . . .

Company's gone and it's way too quiet, but there are gentle reminders that they were here -

the pretty glass pumpkin from Ginger and Matt,

a Fisher Price doll beside the chair leg,

a forgotten hat,

the Aero Bed waiting to go in its bag,

beer in the cooler,

and wine in the kitchen,

Ibuprofen purchased after the race,

mittens and a half-eaten candy cane,

vitamins in a green bottle.

I love all the these reminders of last week.
