Please Don't Tell

Today's Fat Tuesday, and I gave the grandkids Graeter's King Cake and bacon for their breakfast before school today.  Please don't tell their mom.

I seriously love good King Cake.  It's all about the crunch of that colored sugar.  I can't discount the cinnamon in the dough or the sweetness in the icing, but it's the texture of the sugar that gets me.
