Ran Out

I almost never run out of thread when I'm embroidering, especially with an open embroidery like this. But I was using a 30-weight cotton and obviously there wasn't a lot on the spool. And my design is really big.

I went to my local fabric store, five minutes away, where I got the stuff, and they were out of that color. Some time between yesterday afternoon when I bought it and tonight, someone else decided it was a luscious color.

I can't remember whether I altered the center location when I turned the hoop - I remember that I tried - so I guess I'll leave the machine on all night and hope to round up more thread in the right color tomorrow. Who would have guessed?
