Aaron's cuddle quilt, started last week, is finished this week, a record for me. His sister's took much longer, but I designed his to be quickly finished so that he wouldn't have to wait a year like she did. He already has a large wall quilt, tiny name quilt, and a black, white, and red quilt that fastens to his school crib, so it wasn't his first and my internal pressure was off.
The name cuddle quilt is one I made up, meaning a quilt for napping or bed, not an art quilt. This one has two Tigger patterns.
If you like to take online classes, check out Dena Crane's Darned Quilts at Quilt University. As well as ending up with a neat project, you'll get instructions for making a machine binding (below) that looks good every time and doesn't require any hand work.
