Wet and Green

Today's postcard

My world is wet and green today. Now that it's almost dark, it looks all emerald-y.

All this rain makes me glad that I did get in some planting on Monday. More plants are waiting to go out, but all in good time.

I was happy to see a flowering bush in my back yard a week or so ago. Botanist Sarah, are you there? Can you tell me what this is? (That's somewhat of a family joke. Sarah was in a botany class where the professor would take the students outdoors and call out, Botanist Joe Smith, identify this plant.) You can click on the picture to make it larger.
