Joanne's Improv

In one of those boxes from Joanne, there was this pretty improv quilt top, in glorious colors.  Almost the perfect size for a baby quilt.  Aren't those white dots on green just the best?

And that floral fabric!  It was so fun quilting this and watching those glorious pinks and reds and peaches slide under the machine.

Joanne, you and I are ready for the next NICU baby quilt meeting.

I have no idea what I was trying to do with those three fabrics. The purple dots?
Anyway when I saw it "under the needle" it puzzled me but full size--well, I remember it now.
Happy to think a new baby will be mesmerized by the colors and patterns.--and kept warm and safe.

I am still thinking about 36 by 40. The hall is getting tile tomorrow while I am at work. The plumber is coming back to do something. the carpenter and his bobcat pulled down trees and graded the slope next to the driveway--scooped and moved my compost piles. some were smoking. My dear friend from years and years ago called while driving--hands free_ and we caught up on everything for over an hour--90 minutes? Then G and I went to see Wonder Woman. Go! Directed by a woman. Take your grand girl. (some almost nudity at the beginning--then nothing to cover her eyes about) Best comic book movie I have ever seen. Then dinner out--when did a simple dinner get to cost $90? We had drinks and dessert
. G was so happy--he loves eating out.

NOT supposed to rain tomorrow. Wouldn't that be grand!
